In a store when it gets robbed

One evening I was stopping in at a convenience store along Beretania to get some gas, and I went in for some soda as well. While I was waiting for the guy in front of me so I could pay, two guys suddenly came in with guns and told everyone to get on the ground. They pointed their guns at the cashier and told him to give them all the money from the register. The poor guy was so scared he started to whimper, but he managed to find enough sense to open the register and hand a wad of bills to one of the guys. "Let's go!" the other shouted and they ran out the door to a waiting car. When they were gone, we all started laughing out of shock. It was more surprising that frightening, I thought, but looking back I see how lucky we were!
