Things with Randy started to get so heavy that I began to realize I shouldn't be with Willy anymore. It wasn't fair to either of us. So one day while he was at work, I quickly packed up my things and had some friends come pick me up. I got a call later from Willy, wondering what was going on. That's when I spilled the beans, telling Willy for my own sake I needed to leave him and try dating other men for a while. I had nothing against him, and would love him forever, but it was just time for me to do something else with my life. I never heard a man sound so heartbroken. I know he'll get over me one day, but it was hard to hear that.
