I make assistant manager

I was so happy when I was made assistant manager at the bookstore that I could hardly contain myself. I went home directly after work and got on the phone and called Abby. Apparently Abby was still in New York doing her holy work. She was pleased to hear from me, and happy that I was doing so well in Kentucky. After that, I called Marsha and told her to come over. When she got there, I opened the door and got down on one knee, holding a ring I had bought a few days earlier. She accepted my proposal! In all, that had to be one of the best days of my life.
