I lost her before I could make peace.

I just found out that a former friend of mine died today.

We had parted ways when my daughter and her son started dating. I'm not going to go into details, but I felt she had betrayed me, and I stopped talking to her completely.

This morning I found out that she had passed, and I'm not sure how to feel, but I do feel bad that we were never able to be friends after our kids had grown, so that we could back on what had happened and laughed.

She was a very kind woman, and he will be missed by many.
