Hold My Hand

I had waited so long to have my first boyfriend and now here I was. He looked down at me, smiling sweetly, and grabbed for my hand. The butterflies jumped around a bit in my stomach as I reached for his hand, palms all sweaty as we clung together. People looked at us as we walked down the hall and that made me smile even bigger. I finally felt beautiful with my braces off and my mom had taken me to get my hair done, so I felt like a princess walking down the hallway of school with her prince. He was kind of a geek like I was and I think that's why I liked him so much-we laughed together and just had so much fun.
