Hello Again

It was him and I couldn't believe it. He stood there in my doorway, looking shy but excited to see my face. He leaned in tentatively for an embrace and I threw my arms around him. Though we had still talked the whole time here and there, it had been awhile since I had seen his face, since I had smelled his old familiar smell. I couldn't wipe the grin from my face as he was there, standing in my living room. I was so happy to have him there, so excited to share that moment with him. I loved him so much and had never stopped loving him and now here he was, all mine again.
