Heartbreak Hits Hard

Most people feel down when they go through a break up. For me, I felt like my whole world was collapsing. It never occurred to me that it would be this hard when we both moved back home, but the strain was just too much. I would have never broken up with him, I would have kept on, suffering through it all along the way. He ripped my heart out of my chest and I just knew that I'd never be the same. I sat there in the chair, the room silent, nothing making noise or moving. I felt dead inside, so alone, and I knew that I was different from the rest. I let the tears keep flowing down and didn't even try to wipe them away this time, just let them flow and gather like puddles on my cheeks and neck.
