Heart Attack

"I am doing everything I can sir!" I shouted at my boss Mr. Lee Roy.

"If that's the case, then your best needs to get better," I almost thought he was enjoying this.

I didn't know what to say. This rotten man was my boss, and there wasn't anything I could do about it. As I started to think of all the things I would have liked to have done to get him to leave, a strange pain took my by surprise. It shot up through my left arm and made my chest suddenly feel tight. I was having a hard time breathing.

"Are you ok?" Mr. Lee Roy must've noticed.

I tried to answer him, but nothing came out. Instead I just clutched my arm and looked up at him, trying to figure out how to make my mouth ask for help. It was 10 minutes later when the EMT's put me on the stretcher, they told me I was having a heart attack. They also told me to relax, and the that everything would be fine. I hoped they were right.
