Happy Pills

The prescription the doctor gave me, made me feel strange. It was almost as if a fake happy feeling took over my body. Even though I had no reason to smile, I was. Even though I was having a crappy day, I felt good about it.

I went through the first day, doing my normal errands, only this time I did them in a happy daze. I realized it was going to be quite a change to get used to taking the anti-depressants, when I got home and realized that I had bought gummy worms and orange soda, instead of dish soap and garbage bags.
