Graduation

I graduated right after turning 18. Unlike all my friends, I wasn't allowed to go to the celebration, because my parents said the person giving the speech was an abortion doctor. I told them they were being too overprotective, but my mom looked at me funny and told me she was only trying to keep the Devil from getting into my mind and our home. I went to my room and slammed the door. After a while, she came to the door and told me that she had prayed about it, and God had said it was the right choice not to go, and that one day I would understand. I have never forgiven her for that.
