Graduation Day

It was a blur, actually. The day was filled with family, friends, food, and photographs. I said goodbye and good luck to friends and explained my tentative plans for the future what seemed like hundreds of time. I didn't realize until the final guest had gone, and I sat on my bed looking at the cards and money that I was truly done with high school. A bold blue and white card caught my eye and I opened it to read it once more. It was from mom and dad and scrolled across the bottom was, WE'RE SO PROUD OF YOU! I don't know why, but that one little sentence made me start crying, and I couldn't stop for two hours.
