Good Start

Life was simple then. I remember sitting out on the back porch and eating an apple with my dad. He was a good man, always busy and always running back and forth, so I loved it when we could share some time together. It was just an ordinary day but we were sharing a snack out on the back porch, just us and the chirping of the birds. He didn't say much, but he didn't have to-we were so happy to just be there together hanging out and I was happy to share his company for a change.
