Going to school

I loved school. I loved learning. I wanted to be a doctor so I could cure my father. The teachers were very strict. If they caught you talking or giggling with someone else, they hit you with a stick first on the hands and then on your back. The more often you got caught, the more times you got hit on the back. It was more embarrassing than it hurt.
