Getting my first dog

My father brought this cardboard box with an old towel over the top into the house. I heard squeaking coming from the box. When I removed the towel, there was this adorable brown puppy inside trying to get out. It was only a mutt but it was love at first sight. I picked her up and cuddled her. She slept with me that night and every night until she died.
