Getting arrested

I was now addicted to coke. At this point, I didn't care where I got it as long as I got it. My parents suspected I was on something, but I just blamed it on allergies and allergy medication. One night, I was caught making a buy from a supplier I knew when we got caught. We were both handcuffed and arrested. Thank goodness there weren't any photographers around. Because of my family name, and because it was a first offense, I got off with a slap on the wrist. I thought that was the end of it. But then it ended up in the papers. I was glad Grandmama was no longer around to see it. She probably would have disinherited me for sure.
