First Love

I was fifteen when it happened. I had finally lost the last of my baby fat and gained some confidence. We were in band together. Jimmy played the drums, and I played the trumpet. It started with flirtatious glances between songs. He was looking at me like I was something special, his blue eyes and dimples mesmerized me. I didn't really know him yet, but I knew I was in love.
