Olivia and I had been dating through text messaging. Mom and dad wouldn't let me spend time with her outside of school because they thought we were too young. Since I'd be leaving town soon, they let me take her to a movie. Our parents dropped us off and we walked in together. I walked tall and proud feeling the eyes of other jealous teenagers on me. We grabbed some popcorn and found our seats in the back row.
The movie was okay, but her hand on my leg was even better. As the credits rolled, I reached over and pecked her on the cheek, too afraid to go for the lips. She smiled and grabbed my hand, dropping it only when we walked out to find our parents' cars.
