Fired

My boss at the restaurant said I could help clear the dirty dishes from the tables. The one rule was that I was not allowed to talk to the customers or the waitresses. I knew he meant it. He sounded just like the man when he told me what I had to do. I did not want to feel the pain, so I did as he said. Of course, one day I answered a customer's question, and I was fired on the spot. I followed my boss home that night. I was not nice to him. I was angry. Silly man.
