Finding Out About His Kids

It was hard when I found out that my then boyfriend, now husband, had children. He had known about my previous child that went up for adoption, so I think he was nervous to tell me that he had two young children that he had to take care of. I was a little angry at first, we had been dating for a few months at the time, and that is definitely something you say in the first month. But I understood why he waited, and I'm kind of glad he did because I can't say for certain that if he had told me earlier I would have stayed. And I would be sad if I had left him.
