Finding love-for a while

Our sorority held a joint mixer with a fraternity. My sorority originated in the south, so it was a way bit too prudish and not a lot of fun. At the mixer, I crossed glances with this tall, blond guy. He came over to talk. He was there on the G.I. bill, so we were the same age and older than the other underclassmen. I think it was love and first sight. We had a wonderful, passionate relationship that year. But he didn't return for the next school term and we eventually lost contact.
