Finally Rid of Him

Erik never did let me go very easily. I ignored him every chance I got. We had a small stint together in the summer and then he showed signs of being just like my first irritating and deceitful boyfriend. The difference was, Erik wasn't about to just let me walk away.

Text messages, emails, phone calls, letters, he was relentless and persistent. It drove me nuts. So nuts, that I remember the day I exploded and finally got rid of him. Another guy, Mel, was trying to get my attention and ask me on a date when Erik exploded in and tried to tell him off. I went nuts. I screamed at him, hit him in the eye, called him a stalker and loser, and then finally threw a bunch of food at him until he ran from the cafeteria.
