Falling in love again

I was doing my internship and completely worn out from the long hours when a nice, young nurse came up to me and offered me a fresh cup of coffee. She'd noticed I was dragging and thought I could use a pick-me-up. We sat down for a minute to chat. I felt a connection. A few weeks later, we went out together-to the hospital cafeteria. I was still on duty and she was on her dinner break. She was really a nice girl-cute with a bubbly personality. You could tell she was a good nurse. But I got my residency in a different state and had to move away. We tried to stay in touch, but the distance got the better of us.
