Facing a tornado

It was August. My husband and I were driving through a construction zone on the highway. A tornado warning on the radio said to take cover IMMEDIATELY. There was no exit near us, so we were stuck. There was nothing we could do but watch as the wall of black clouds came right at us. The brakes were on, yet we could feel our car moving. Road signs were blowing horizontally. An orange construction barrel rolled across the front of our car.

A couple minutes later, after everything had passed, we realized that our car was now sitting on the side of the road. Luckily we didn't get rolled over.
