Easter

My earliest memory was when I was about three years old. I had this beautiful new dress. It had pink flowers. I wore a white straw hat with a pink ribbon, and shiny, white patent leather shoes. I felt like a princess. My parents organized an Easter egg hunt in the back yard and invited some other kids. Each of us had a basket for collecting the eggs we found. But I didn't know some of them were hollow and filled with confetti. So when one of the boys cracked an egg over my head, I screamed and cried while the confetti came floating down from my hair.
