Does Your Dad hit you?

"I need to talk to you in my office Terrell." Said my principal. I didn't know what she wanted, but followed anyways.

She ushered me into the chair near her desk, and then sat down behind the desk. She was giving me a concerned look, like my mom did when I was sick. After sitting there waiting for whatever was going to happen, she suddenly asked me if my dad hit me. It was hard to lie as I thought about the purple mark around my eye. It was still sore from when my dad had made it.
