Dancing with Excitement

We sat anxiously among all the other parents; we had front row seats for this joyous occasion. I had to pull a few strings to get off of work early, but I couldn't miss this. Then there she was, she was a vision of beauty in pink as she crossed the stage. Our little princess was having her first dance recital and I found myself feeling nervous for her as the music started. They were so young and though the dancing wasn't the best I'd ever seen, I didn't care. She looked so perfect, so graceful as she leaped across the stage. I beamed with pride as she saw me in the audience and waved at me with a big smile on her face.
