Christmases

I remember the whole magical, sophisticated shroud that surrounded me. I believed in Santa Claus. On Christmas Eve, my parents tried to get my brother and me to go to bed. But we were so excited, we didn't ever think we could. But somehow we drifted off, and when we woke up, Santa has arrived. There were so many presents under the tree, and they were all wrapped in this sparkly paper with ribbons and bows that were so much fun tearing off.
