Break up with Bill

When we first met Bill had been working for a law firm helping people file for bankruptcy. He did so well that he was able to break off and start his own business. He got a great office space down town and said that the office next door his wasn't going to renew its lease next year. If all went well he said he was going to turn that space into my own beauty salon. I wanted to get married, but Bill said marriage spoiled things. I had hoped in time he'd change his mind. When Bill started up his own law office he needed a secretary, my aunt Becky asked Bill to consider her best friend's daughter Meghan, who had just moved to town from California and had law office experience. Meghan was 30, had two children and had moved to town because of a divorce, but she was pretty and a college graduate.
