I laughed when I got into college and into the first auto tech class. It was mostly full of young men who thought they were special because they could fix cars. They razzed me for the first month of class, but I just waited. I knew that first time we'd get to fix something, I could show them up.
I got that chance when the teacher told us to change a starter on a car brought in by one of the kids parents, and I was the only one who even knew where the started was. The teacher was proud of me, and let me change it out with no help. It was very impressive.
