We had met at the bus stop the very first day of school. From that moment on we were inseparable and we did everything together. We played for the same baseball team, spent countless hours in his clubhouse, and swam in the pool at my house. We could finish each other's sentences and spent more time at each other's houses for dinner than our own. I hated going on vacation because it meant that I couldn't hang out with him and play outside. This was what friendship should be and he was my best friend in the whole world. I would run outside each day after breakfast to see what games we'd play that day and what we could discover together.
