Being abandoned again

My boyfriend was the first person I had ever had sex with. He didn't like to use condoms. When it was that time of the month, I just gave him blowjobs. A couple of months before graduation, I found out I was pregnant.

He wanted me to get an abortion. But I refused. A couple of weeks after graduation, we packed up and headed for Los Angeles so he could get with a band or in the movies. We were in Missouri when the car broke down. I waited for him at McDonald's while he got it fixed. But he never came back. There I was, stuck in this little town where I didn't know anybody and with no money. I was abandoned again.
