Another Family Holiday

I sat staring at the uncarved turkey while Uncle Nate screamed at his daughter about her promiscuous ways. Mom looked at my aunt sympathetically, then unfolded napkins for little Cecilia and Devon who were squirming in their seats while their mother got yelled at. It seemed Christine was pregnant again, and the father of this child was a totally different guy. So the kids and the rest of the family listened to the rant about her having three different kids with three different men while I salivated over the food in front of me and Christine held back tears.
