An abortion

One thing my old boyfriend left me with was a big problem. I hadn't been as careful with him as I should have been, and one morning I realized I was pregnant. A test proved me right. I knew I couldn't have a baby, not with my profession, but with him no longer returning my calls, I was out of luck. So I went to a place I knew would take care of the problem, cheap. They put me on a table and gave me a drug that made me really relaxed, and at one point I heard something like a vacuum running, but next thing I knew they helped me off the table and told me to expect some blood over the next few days. I cried like a baby all night, suddenly feeling like all remnants of that nice man, had just been removed from my life forever, and a door closed for good.
