When I met this wonderful Russian man, I was immediately struck by him. He was tall, good looking, worldly-and very sophisticated in a European way. Ironically, we were born on the same day. He was married but separated and had a newborn son. We were very good friends. We understood each other's problems and could talk about them. We were each other's support. And we genuinely loved each other in a very special way. Eventually, we became lovers. He was a wonderful in bed-strong yet gentle. I felt completely safe and secure with him. But I loved him too much to ruin his marriage or any chances of reconciliation-especially with a child involved. So we broke it off. But we remained good friends.
