A Dare

I was that guy, especially in college. It always started off with a good dare and I would jump at the chance to prove that I could pull it off. I never got scared, never feared getting caught. I was young, cocky, and stupid. We were at a concert one day when they dared me to steal a lighter off of this vendor's table. It was a hot little silver lighter and I knew that I could do it. While everyone was sitting there, listening to the music, I took a little stroll. I walked up beside the table and as I looked around, I seamlessly took the lighter off the table and slipped it into my pocket in one move. Done!
