A Bittersweet Moment

My boyfriend and I decided that we would like to give our virginities to each other before he got too sick to do anything strenuous. We had wanted to wait until we were married, but seeing as that wasn't going to happen, couldn't happen, we decided to go all the way. I had wanted to give my virginity to my husband, and in my mind, he would always be the person I most wanted to marry. It was sweet, and we made sure it was romantic. As perfect as possible, because it was a memory that would have to last a lifetime.
